Butterfly
conservation will hold its 5th International Symposium in the City of
Southampton, UK in April 2005. For details on abstract submission,
registration and booking see the
Butterfly Conservation website. Key sessions are:

- Special topic:
Maculinea butterflies as indicators of habitat management and

Ecology of the Butterflies in
Europe

The final
MacMan conference will take place as a central part of the "Ecology of
Butterflies in Europe" conference, which takes place from the 5th-10th
December 2005 in Leipzig. The current plans are to combine the conference
with the launching of the book "Ecology of the Butterflies in Europe",
Cambridge University Press (eds.: Settele, Konvicka, Shreeve, Dennis & Van
Dyck). All major MacMan findings will be presented. The conference will
take place at the
new conference complex (KUBUS)
at the UFZ in Leipzig. |
